Propeller Club Awards - Maritime Day 2009
The Propeller Club held its Maritime Day event May 18, 2009,
aboard the cruise vessel CQ Princess.
Colonel John Aubrey, (Sheriff of Jefferson County) was presented
the Maritime Person of the Year award by club president Michael
Ash on behalf of the Louisville Club.
Michael Ash was presented the Propeller Club Person of the Year
award by club secretary Jack Reisz of Wooten’s River Service on
behalf of the Louisville Club.

Jim Wilkerson of Seaman’s Church performed the Laying of the
Merchant Mariner’s Memorial Wreath.

The Propeller Club held its Maritime Day event May 19, 2008,
aboard the cruise vessel CQ Princess.
Capt. Jamie Donahue, board vice president,
presenting the Maritime Person of the Year award to Coast Guard
cmdr. Gregory Howard, in recognition of his years of service to
the Coast Guard, the industry and the Louisville area.
Lee Stokes, board member and past president,
presents the Person of the Year honor to Stephanie Miller in
recognition of her years of contributions to the Louisville club
as a member and Honorary Board of Governors member.
Chaplain Jim Wilkerson of the Seaman’s Church who delivered reef
ceremony.
